Indigo manages 14 London Midland station car parks on the Euston to Birmingham line incorporating Harrow and Wealdstone, Bushey, Watford Junction, Kings Langley, Hemel Hempstead, Berkhamstead, Cheddington, Tring, Leighton Buzzard, Bletchley, Milton Keynes Central, Wolverton and Northampton.
Moving technology forwards
There are 5,029 parking spaces in total, which offer a range of payment systems including pay on entry, pay on foot and pay and display. We aim to minimise problems for the customer and make the process as smooth as possible to help their journeys. We have recently been integrating and developing payment via phone which allows customers to pay on the move and therefore will never miss a train.
Constant service improvements
Our team of dedicated Parking Attendants act as a help point for customers with enquiries and also to patrol and monitor all parking at the stations. All car parks have the equipment stored to assist with flat batteries and to retrieve keys that have been locked in vehicles. We also can arrange breakdown recovery and taxi services which offers an added value service to all users.
Maintenance and security
Indigo maintains each of the car parks, these are managed by our maintenance team who remedy problems such as small surface repairs, large graffiti removal and ensuring grass and shrubbery is cut back to the perimeters. Over time Indigos' role has broadened to include winter maintenance of platforms, platform announcements, provision of ticket barrier staff, station cleaning and night/weekend station concourse and platform security.
The full management package offers customer satisfaction which promotes repeat business and increased car park occupancy which in turn provides a network of well managed sites with maximum revenue for the client.
