Employees from Vinci Park UK were recently accredited by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) following an intensive 12 month training programme in management skills.

At an event in London’s St Pancras Renaissance Hotel, Managers and Supervisors from Vinci Park were awarded CMI Level 2 and 3 qualifications recognising their skills in management following a programme of seminars, assignments and exams. The awards were presented by Naomi Riches MBE, gold medalist at the London 2012Paralympic Games.

The training forms a part of Vinci Park’s wider employee development programme, working closely with the British Parking Association and Professionals Skills Development Board to drive high standards in the industry.

Vinci Park UK has had an accredited training programme since 2001. The company’s induction and development programme includes training courses which offer nationally recognised qualifications – such as National Vocational Qualifications, Chartered Management Institute and City & Guilds which are transferable within and outside of the parking management industry.

Leeann Skilling, HR Director of Vinci Park UK, comments: “Having a skilled and motivated workforce is essential in any industry, and when providing a broad range of operational services, managing a large client base and ensuring an excellent level of customer service is maintained, it is vital that our staff have the best training available. In addition qualifications like the CMI help us to create a more structured organisation; ensuring our employees at all levels have the opportunity to learn more and develop their careers while ensuring consistent high standards are achieved across the business.”
