Vinci Park UK, the specialist parking operator, has expanded its services in the north-west having won and implemented new on-street enforcement contracts with Salford City Council and Trafford City Council.
The new contracts are the first signed by Vinci Park since their success in securing a Framework Agreement for the provision of parking enforcement services. This Framework Agreement is available to a large number of north-west based public authorities and organisations and provides a viable alternative to traditional expensive and time consuming procurement processes. The range of services available for call-off include on and off-street parking enforcement and management, as well as a number of associated services.
Vinci Park UK has TUPE transferred the existing staff, who will be handling parking in the two areas, with 31 new employees moving from NSL at Salford and 17 from APCOA at Trafford. The new staff will benefit from Vinci Park UK’s expansive and progressive training programme, accredited by City & Guilds, as well as added investment in new technology and vehicles.
As well as parking enforcement, Vinci Park will also be assisting the councils through the amalgamation of their cash collection services into one team, thereby maximising the economies of scale. New operating bases have been established, as well as new enforcement hardware and a fleet of new vehicles to drive greater efficiencies and better services for road users.
